Nick Clarke: Cabinet maker and furniture designer

Traditional dresser, made of ash

The first of these dressers is made of ash for a Yorkshire farmhouse. The second is of miscellaneous materials, painted white for an Islington basement.

The two houses are decorated in quite different styles. In each case the customer has what they wanted, and in each case they fit in very nicely.

The third piece is really a bookcase, decorated with relief carvings of fabulous beasts, which I copied from an Anglo-Saxon font in a local church.
